it's tough to make animation so fluid as you have done... no morphing... lots of elastic bouncing... love it!
loved the one where he knocks and gets shot.
i'm impressed by your ability to get an emotional response prior to the twist. good job.
there is not enough feedback during gameplay, though. such as audio feedback when getting coins in the air (some kind of coin clainking would be nice), nor any audio feedback when you jump or land. walking audio feedback, and gravity flipping (warp sound or something). spashing in water, boinging on jump points, splatting on spikes.
i feel no incentive to get coins a counter for each coin obtained might help with that. i am unsure how to solve this problem, other than adding a counter/score.
it is well made in that it has no bugs as far as i can see.
this game has character. that's what i like about it. i noticed if you stand idle he goes to sleep. the music score is fun. the art is simple, and decently attractive. the color is great.
assumming this is a practice game in a sense until you make your best so i don't expect a lot out of it. it's good for what it is.
love the non-grid aspect of gameplay that you have here. I did not enjoy playing in silence, though. so would recommend audio feedback (crunching sound when eating food(?), sound effects when biting your tail or running in to walls, level complete sounds, etc.), and background music.

I will add some audio feedback as you suggested. To find a great background music for this game should be harder than to find the sound effects, but I will look into this, too.
